The easiest way to find St. Cadoc's is off the A48, the stretch of road between Cardiff and Cowbridge.  If travelling from the east, pass through Bonvilston, ignore the first sign left to Llancarfan (it's a rough road) and instead turn next left by the ‘Old Post’ pub, confusingly signed to Llantrithyd.  If travelling from the west, turn right at the ‘Old Post’.  Now follow the road towards the sea, keeping left at the first fork, for about 2.5 miles.  Look out for the Old Vicarage, on your left, then turn    hard left off the main road at the next junction, marked by road chevrons.  Dip  back down the hill to discover Llancarfan and St. Cadoc’s church ahead of you.

For an up-to-date current diary of St. Cadoc's Church's activities, please refer to the Llancarfan Society's   'Events Calendar', to be found at the address below: www.llancarfansociety.org.uk

Just before conservation began again, parish youngsters copied the walls, and used original methods & pigments to rediscover the craft skills of their ancestors.
